I interrupt our Florida vacation to share some October pictures. They say we have two seasons here - Summer and Winter. Well that is proving to be true. We have had some "Indian Summer" days (or is that "Native American" Summer now?) but we got our first dose of winter this week.
Here are some pictures taken two weeks ago on our land:
Here are pictures taken this week just after the snow started falling. We did wind up with about 4 inches which isn't that bad, but the valleys (villages) only got rain. So if you drove down our road a mile you no longer saw any snow.
Need I say more?

Only four inches? We had six. Must be you're closer to civilization on that end of the road...
We enjoyed it, but we're not quite ready for full-fledged winter yet!
