Naughty Goat and Our Dog

Here is a picture of the naughty goat, Clover, going where the grass is greener. You can see she is larger then Cinnamon. The other picture is of our dog of almost 8 years. She is a big part of our family.

We had a nice sunny day today so we all went out to play. The boys played in their dirt piles and on the swing set and slide. Tyler walked the horse around the yard. Krystle entertained the goats.

Clover the black goat took the liberty to ignore the fence since the grass is greener on the other side and pigged out on fresh green grass. I am hoping she does not get a belly ache. I noticed she has signs of pregnancy so I am hoping she really is expecting. She would be due the middle of June since her last known heat was in mid January.

The brown goat or Cinnamon, she lost her baby about a month ago. I felt bad, I was very much looking forward to having a bunch of goat kids around. She is too timid to come out of her pen. There is a picture of my daughter trying to coax her out, but it didn't work. Usually the two goats are inseparable, but she followed the other goat from inside the fence.

We got the horse out to munch on some grass and finally Clover, followed the horse back into the fenced in area. Now if she will stay put.

(Hebrews 13:15 KJV) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

Our Photo

Here is a picture of Bill and I (Annmarie) taken about a year ago. It is not often we get our picture taken, so here is one of the few chances to see one of both of us together. We will be married 16 years next fall.

Ruby Red Horse

This is a picture of our horse Ruby. She is a registered Fox Trotter and is 7 years old. We are learning how to raise a horse with her. Thankfully she is tame and tolerates a lot. Someday I hope to get another horse to keep her company, but for now she has the goats. We have neighbor horses and they talk to each other across the field. When the fields dry we may walk her over in their pasture.

Goats are Fun

Here are our two goats: Cinnamon and Clover. They are sisters. We hope to milk them some day.

Here is a picture of our road and pond across the street from dining room window. This was taken during the April 16th storm.

Here is a picture from the snow storm we had on April 16th. We had 8 to 10 inches total when it was done, but it melted by the end of the week. This is a picture out my front window.

April 29, 2007

We just returned from a long trip to Indiana and Wisconsin. I bought a card reader so I was easily able to download our pictures to the computer. So here is my experiment in the blog world. I don't have much time so we will see how it goes, if I get around to posting to it.

These pictures were taken at the Toledo, Ohio zoo. It was voted one of the top 10 zoos in America by a children's magazine, for family friendliness. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we had a ton of fun there. We were limited by time - we really needed to get home and we were still about 8 to 10 hours from home. So we did race through the exhibits. We did buy a zoo membership, because it cost so much for all of us to get in.

(Isaiah 40:29-31 KJV) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
