I really think that someone goes and sprinkles "diamonds" around at night. If you dig you may find them, but I found mine way to easily by just lifting up the rocks. You can see a "sample" of one I found at the top. That was the biggest one we found that day. Tyler found a heart shaped one that is nice. Most of the others were quite small.
